Common Question

Do I Need to Hire a Wedding Planner?
Planning a wedding can be stressful. Chances are you have a full-time job, school, family and or social obligations in addition to your upcoming nuptials; just balancing your daily life can be a very overwhelming experience. A professional planner, working with you, can handle the details, allowing you the freedom to do what you do best. Everything involved in planning a wedding must be brought together to ensure that the bride and groom are able to enjoy themselves without worry. A wedding consultant can save you valuable time by providing you with a portfolio of preferred vendors or doing the required legwork including vendor research and selections, venue site inspections, budget management, contract reviews, timeline planning from start to finish, and so much more. No time to make those phone calls? That’s why you hired us! Need a shoulder to cry on or just someone to vent to? That is what we are here for. I not just working for you, but I am your friend, your confidant, your spokesperson and your personal assistant.

Can I afford a Wedding Planner?

One of the largest misconceptions is that a wedding consultant does not fit into the budget. Overall, you can't afford NOT to have a coordinator! A wedding planner should be a part of your overall budget, not an extra expense. In fact, we often save you money (sometimes as much or more than we charge) because we can suggest less expensive alternatives that still enhance your wedding.

Will a Wedding Planner take the fun away from my Planning? Takeover?
With Twenty4 Carat Events, we are not there to make decisions for you, but to work with you. There are some planners out there that might, but this is not our show, it's all about you! We handle as little or as much as you want. It is your wedding, and we would never want to deprive you of the fun of planning and making key decisions. You make all of the ultimate decisions; we make sure that everything is executed according to plan. It's still your wedding, but it's our job!

My Site Comes with a Coordinator. Do I Really Need to Hire a Coordinator?
Several are confused by the roles of a site coordinator versus their wedding planner.  Simply put, the site coordinator works for that venue, whereas we work for YOU! We will always have your best interests at heart and want to see you happy. We work with you prior to your big day to ensure that your vision comes true. Twenty4 Carat Events will ensure that your vendors are all on schedule and will stay up to date with them, which a site coordinator will not do.

What if I want my mom, or a friend to help me with my wedding?
Even though your friends and family want to help you on your special day, in reality, they don't really feel comfortable taking charge and making decisions that are going to affect the most important day of your life. There are so many examples where best of friends turns worst of enemies because of conflicts while planning a wedding. And last of all, it’s your big day and you want to share and enjoy it with everyone you love. Do you really want your mom or best friend to run around all stressed out instead of basking together in your love and joy? If you think enough of someone to invite them to your wedding, why would you want to put them to work instead of being one of the important invited guests enjoying the day?
